Everett is a sweet, super smart 6-year-old Poodle weighing around 23 pounds. He can be a bit shy when first entering new surroundings and meeting new people, and because new experiences are still new to him, he may take some time to adjust. With patience, understanding, and a little time, Everett can build up the courage to trust and become more comfortable with the people around him.

Everett is dog social and requires another dog in his new home. He does best with other dog-social dogs that he can look to for comfort, confidence, and guidance. Having a canine companion will help Everett adjust to his new surroundings and continue learning the ropes.

Everett walks well on leash and is making great progress with his house training. He has already picked up the habit and is almost fully house trained. He loves spending time in the yard and especially enjoys playing in the pool! As a smart and curious boy, Everett will thrive with continued positive reinforcement, structure, and opportunities to learn.

Everett can be a bit nervous around new people, so he will need a patient family who understands that building trust may take some time. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Everett can continue to blossom into the sweet and loving companion he is meant to be.

Everett is looking for a patient home with another dog who can help him feel secure as he adjusts to his new life. A securely fenced yard with a minimum 5-foot fence is required to help keep Everett safe and give him a place to enjoy outdoor time and play.
