Fluffy is a striking 4-year-old girl with a beautiful white and blond coat and a heart that needs time, patience, and understanding to shine. As a Great Pyrenees-Anatolian Shepherd mix, she is a substantial presence at 64 pounds, and she is spayed and ready for her forever home.

Fluffy is very social with people and absolutely loves attention and affection. She enjoys being around people and soaking up all the love, but she is still getting used to new environments and may need some time to feel comfortable when things are unfamiliar. She is an intelligent dog who can be very observant of her surroundings and does best with people who will allow her to adjust at her own pace and give her the time she needs to settle in.

Fluffy also does best with calmer dogs who are respectful of her space. She enjoys having canine company but is perfectly happy to relax and watch from a comfortable distance rather than being right in the middle of the action. She requires a home with another confident dog who can provide reassurance, help show her the ropes, and support her as she continues learning about the world around her.

For her safety, Fluffy requires a home with a secure, minimum 6-foot fenced yard. Because of her intelligence and ability to navigate her surroundings, she may look for opportunities to leave an unsecured area and has demonstrated that she can jump over a 4-foot fence. Her future family will need to be especially mindful of secure fencing and any potential escape points. A safe and secure yard will be an important part of helping Fluffy settle in and enjoy her new home.

Fluffy would do best in a cat-free household where she can feel comfortable and continue growing into the amazing companion she is meant to be.

A required in-person meet and greet at our shelter is part of the adoption process to help ensure a good fit for both Fluffy and her potential adopters.
