How to Meet Our Pets
All of our available animals are on our website, and we are open 7 days a week for adoption meets and all other services.
Special Programs & Areas Served
Special Programs: We have a private veterinary hospital that serves both shelter animals and animals with a guardian and we offer discounts based on income qualification. We have a training and behavior center that supports our shelter population and animals with a guardian through private consultations, group classes, and behavior modification in the shelter. HSBV has a foster program, a transfer program to help cats and dogs from both in and out of state, and an adoption program for dogs, cats, and small animals. We will always take in strays and guardian surrenders from our service area, have a food share program, and offer end of life services.
