Our mission is to rescue & regime abandoned and neglected dogs. In addition to rescuing, we also promote our own community spay/ neuter outreach program that allows us to assist families that need this service but can't afford it.

Companion Pet Rescue & Transport of W. TN, Inc rescues dogs in need from west Tennessee and Mississippi and places them in loving new homes. We don't have any breed restrictions, but we do focus our efforts on social, family-friendly dogs. In addition to rescue, we also operate our own low-cost community spay/neuter program to help reduce the number of homeless animals and to help keep pets with the people who love them. We're a 501(c)(3) and have been saving dogs since 2004.

Adoptions

The process is easy!
Head over to cprdogs.com to view our adoptable dogs & puppies and submit an application.
Processing usually just takes a few days and you'll hear back from our adoption coordinator. She will also reach out if she has any questions or difficulty reaching one of your references.
Once you're approved, you can finalize whenever you're ready!

Adopters can meet our dogs at a weekend adoption event or by scheduling a meet with a pup at their convenience. We typically hold events every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the schedule can be viewed at cprdogs.com. To schedule a meet with a specific pup, please head over to cprdogs.com and submit an adoption application. Upon approval, we'll put you in touch with the pup's foster so you can select a time/ date/ location that works for you!
