Pet Tails Rescue is committed to saving the lives of abandoned, surrendered, or homeless dogs and cats through our shelter facility and a foster-based network of volunteers. We share the vision to place these precious animals into permanent, responsible adoptive homes. The Rescue is also focused on promoting awareness, education, and reform to existing animal welfare conditions and standards, which contributes to a productive and positive animal adoption experience.

We personalize our adoption process to suit the best needs of our pets, the adopters unique requirements and take into consideration all current members of a pets new home )including current pets). We understand adoption of a new pet is exciting but can also be stressful and we go above & beyond to make all adoptions a stressless memorable experience. We want the best fit for all parties involved.

Adoptions, Volunteer Program

Once an application is submitted potential adopters will hear from us within 3-7 days (depending on our application load) We will review their application, answer all questions and if applicant is approved we will set up a meet & greet. Potential adopters should bring a carrying crate in preparation of bringing their new pet home.
Please note: only 2 people per room is allowed. Children under 5 are welcome to our facility but not allowed into adoption rooms.

Adoption appointments are set up after an application has been submitted and approved.
