You can adopt a shelter animal in-person from 1:00pm – 6:00pm at the Camarillo or Simi Valley Animal Shelters, or by using our online adoption sign-up portal below which is open between 9:00am – 10:30am. While online sign-ups are not required to adopt an animal, priority is given to those with appointments. This means if you come to adopt a specific animal in-person, and learn that animal already has an appointment scheduled, the person with the appointment will have priority. To see if an animal already has an appointment, look for an orange Adoption Pending tag below their profile picture. These tags are usually placed before we open at 1:00pm.
