Description
When Abe first arrived at the shelter, he was scared and unsurebut what a transformation hes made! With a little patience and a lot of love, Abe has blossomed into a joyful, playful pup whos ready to find his forever family.
Abe is a smart cookie who is incredibly treat-motivated (seriouslyhell do just about anything for a snack!). This makes him not only fun to work with, but also a great student whos eager to keep learning his manners. Hes got the brains and the heart.
This energetic boy would thrive in an active home with a fenced-in yard where he can run, play, and burn off his zoomies. He loves other dogs and could run around with canine buddies for hours. Whether its tug-of-war or chase, Abe is always ready to play! Were not quite sure how he feels about cats just yethe hasnt shown much interest in them here at the shelter, so with slow and patient introductions, he may do just fine in a home with feline friends.
Once playtime is over, Abe is all about the cuddles. Hes a big ol love bug who wants nothing more than to snuggle up next to you and soak in the affection. If you're looking for a loyal companion whos equal parts fun and affectionate, Abe might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is SPONSORED!
