Description

Meet Sarabi! Nala came to CCHS with her sisters Nala and Sarafina from a local farm mid-July. We don't know much about her actual background, but we can tell you for sure that she is cute, sweet, and very fluffy! Sarabi is a Chow Chow, about 16 weeks old (estimated DOB 3/31/25). She weighs 36.9#. She is so very pretty with her typical reddish Chow coloring, including her black tongue! Sarabi is a friendly girl, always happy to see visitors approaching. She will be a great addition to her new family, where she hopes to share great times in the future.
With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important. Apply for Sarabi today!

Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can click on "More About Us" to the right and then click on "Adoption Application" button which will take you to our website where you can actually apply. You can also go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you!

Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response.

The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
