Adoption Process:
Animal Rescue Associates, Inc is a licensed no-kill, no-shelter animal rescue in Illinois. We do not have a shelter! Our rescued pets are generally located in foster homes located in Lake, Cook, Kane or Mchenry county (not always in the town listed). Adoptions are done on a first come, first served basis and will be processed in order of receipt. Please note, some dogs go quickly! So dont wait! :) Adoptions include, based on health and age requirements, spay/neuter at our participating vet, medical care for known conditions, heart-worm checked (adult dogs), dewormer, vaccinated, have monthly flea/tick prevention and/or heartworm prevention. And will be micro-chipped! Please do NOT fill it out on our website. We will not receive it. An adoption coordinator may contact you via cell phone outside of these hours. Please expect up to 24 hours for a response (but sometimes we can do it REALLY quick!).
