Everyone, meet Dakota—the pup with a nose for adventure and a heart of gold. This little guy journeyed to us all the way from Oklahoma and promptly decided to take himself on a Cedar Rapids/Marion/Hiawatha city tour. For 32 days, Dakota explored the urban jungle before being caught in a trap. ??
After his city escapades, Dakota settled into his new foster home, where he flourished. He was adopted, but his adventurous spirit led him on another quest—a return trip to his foster's house just a week later! Yes, Dakota is a master escape artist and needs a diligent human to ensure he stays safe.
**A few fun facts about Dakota:**
- **Size:** Small, weighing in at 22 lbs.
- **Age:** About 1.5 years old.
- **Social Butterfly:** LOVES other dogs and absolutely needs a playful canine companion in his forever home. He's great with dogs of all sizes and even cats.
- **House & Kennel Trained:** Dakota knows the ropes.
- **Paper & Cardboard Enthusiast:** Be ready to keep these items out of reach, unless you enjoy confetti decor.
- **Toy Lover:** Whether he's shredding soft toys or playing with any kind of toy, Dakota's playful side is hard to resist.
- **Sweet & Goofy:** Once he warms up to you, he’ll shower you with affection and snuggles. Oh, and he's requested a weekly pup cup... we'll let you decide how to handle that! ??
