Description
Howard is shy at first, but once he gets comfortable, he is very playful and just loves attention. He is now with a foster and in the words of the foster, is amazing! There are a couple of other dogs in the household and he gets along well with them. According to the foster, he never barks ( he did at the kennel :) ). He doesn't get on the furniture, has figured out the doggie door and hasn't had any accidents. Just this week he learnt how to climb stairs.

Many dogs have come through and found their special place and people, but many have not. It is the mission of Houlagans' Rest to be the rescue of last resort. We save and prepare for adoption, dogs that have been rejected by others and are scheduled to be euthanized. This website is dedicated to help those dogs find their "forever homes".
