Description
Born on Valentine’s Day 2024, Dimitri is every bit the heartthrob you’d expect—handsome, spirited, and full of life. This striking Husky-Hound mix has been with us since birth, growing up in foster care and then at the shelter, waiting for a home of his own. Now a tall, lean, 50-pound bundle of energy and curiosity, Dimitri is ready to trade kennel walls for hiking trails and couch cuddles.
True to his breed mix, Dimitri is adventurous, intelligent, and always up for a new experience. He thrives on activity and loves having a job to do, whether that’s playing with other dogs, exploring a backyard, or learning a new trick. He would absolutely shine in a home with another playful, confident dog to help show him the ropes and burn off that youthful energy.
While Dimitri is outgoing and social, he’s also still learning what life in a home is all about. Because of this, he’d do best with a patient, active family—ideally one with experience or older, dog-savvy kids—who can give him the guidance and consistency he needs to thrive.
He’s a dog with so much potential: smart, affectionate, and eager to bond. With the right training, structure, and a little time to adjust, Dimitri is sure to become a loyal adventure buddy and loving companion.
