Adoption Process
We offer up to two meet-and-greets at a time, with one species per meet. Surveys are reviewed in the order they are received, and adopters are placed on a queue board accordingly. With one adoption counselor, we are typically able to complete 6–7 meet-and-greets per day.

Before each interaction, an adoption counselor will review the pet’s available medical history, behavioral information, and background with the potential adopter. This helps ensure adopters have as much information as possible before meeting the pet.

At the end of the interaction, the adopter may choose to move forward with the adoption the same day. All of our adoptable pets are already vetted and altered, allowing the adoption process to be completed without waiting for additional veterinary procedures.

Adoption fees range from $5–$100, depending on the pet.

The counseling session typically takes 30–45 minutes, followed by approximately 20 minutes to complete the adoption paperwork and process.

Once everything is completed, the adopter is ready to head home with their new best friend!
