Billy -- The timid pup who is looking for a soft place to land.

Billy`s is a story that is sometimes too hard to hear. He was found trapped in a cramped crate after being abandoned by his owners for weeks. He arrived at the shelter extremely emaciated, scared and unsure of the world around him. Billy is still learning that there are good things to look forward to in his day now like walks with volunteers that include treats, sunshine and love. He still needs lots of encouragement and coaxing. Billy is in need of a home that is patient and kind, and understanding. And above all else -- GRACE. Grace is needed when he shows some food insecurity, or when he`s learning a new routine, and most especially when he learns how to simply be a DOG.

In spite of his start Billy does show that he wants to trust, and that he can be incredibly sweet. He loves to cuddle and takes treats so gently.

- Also called "little man" as he small in stature for his breed, he is 33lbs.
- He loves to snuggle, is potty trained, crate trained and walks very well on his leash.
- He is very relaxed around adults, no preference on gender.
- Needs a home without children under 12 years.
- Plays well with our neighbors dog-they play through the fence, also a male pitt-terrier.
- He doesn't bark at all, is very treat motivated!
