Susy is 8 years old, a Chihuahua mix, and quite possibly the shelter's most experienced grumpy old lady. She has opinions. Lots of them. And she is absolutely not afraid to share them.

Susy would like you to know that she has no time for nonsense, excessive enthusiasm, or anyone who thinks she needs to "cheer up." She is perfectly capable of being cheerful when she feels like it, thank you very much.

She prefers life on her terms, thank you, and would love a quiet home where she can supervise everything from the comfort of a cozy bed. Think of her as the tiny, four-legged neighbor who watches everyone from behind the curtains and somehow knows exactly what you've been up to.

But underneath all that grumbling is a sweet senior-ish girl who is looking for someone who appreciates a dog with character, sass, and very strong boundaries.

If you've always wanted a tiny roommate who will judge your life choices, complain about the weather, and still somehow steal your heart, Susy is your girl.
