Stanley is a resilient soul with a story that will tug at your heartstrings. Despite his tough past, this high-energy boy has nothing but love to give. Social with other dogs, Stanley does have some resource-guarding tendencies, so we recommend working with a trainer before introducing him to a multi-dog home. He's also currently heartworm positive and would be adopted out as a hospice dog due to some ongoing medical concerns. When Stanley arrived, he was emaciated, but this fighter is now on the road to recovery, gaining weight and showing his true personality-a lovable, happy, and determined pup. He adores people, thrives on attention, and has an incredible zest for life despite the challenges he's faced. Stanley deserves a special home filled with patience, care, and compassion.
