07695B Bullet - Adoption Ambassador

Meet Bullet, a very handsome German Shepherd with the classic shepherd demeanor we all know and love. He's loyal, protective, devoted to his people, and equipped with a nose that seems to go for miles-and he's not afraid to use it to give you a little shove when he thinks he deserves some attention! In other words, if Bullet wants to say hello, you're going to know about it.

Bullet is a big, strong boy who can be a little overbearing with other dogs, especially when he gets a little too enthusiastic (yes, he can be a bit of a humper), so for now, we think he'd be happiest as your one and only. He also has a big, booming Shepherd bark, so a home without shared walls is a must. Because of his size and exuberant personality, we recommend a home without young children or little kids.

With the people he knows, Bullet is an absolute sweetheart. He loves his humans and usually warms up fairly quickly to new people once he realizes they're friends. He was owner-surrendered and has lived in a home before, so he's ready to settle back into the good life with someone who understands and appreciates the wonderful, sometimes very Shepherd-y qualities that make him who he is.

Bullet does have some medical needs that his adopter will need to be prepared to manage. He has been treated for ear infections, has hip dysplasia-which is unfortunately common in German Shepherds and will need to be monitored throughout his life-and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment for heartworms. We will provide the medication he needs for his heartworm treatment.

Bullet is a stately, gorgeous boy who has been through enough and deserves a fresh start. He may need a little extra care, but in return, you'll get a devoted, loving Shepherd who is ready to spend his days being admired, loved, and occasionally pushing his giant nose into your personal space. If you're looking for a loyal companion with plenty of personality and an even bigger heart, Bullet may be your guy.

His booming bark can be a little intimating to those who don't know him, so he is currently located at our offsite location in Ravenel. If interested in meeting him, set up an appointment by emailing our team at [email protected].
