Available for adoption! This sweet boy has been given a second chance, and he's ready to start his journey toward a much brighter future. Walter was picked up by one of our Animal Care Officers after he was found chained to a fence, where his previous owner had left him behind after moving away. He arrived at the shelter incredibly emaciated, but thankfully, his story doesn't end there. Walter is now receiving the meals, care, and love he deserves as he works toward becoming a healthier and happier boy. Despite everything he's been through, Walter has a goofy and energetic personality that is starting to shine through. He has done well with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. He's interested in toys and wants to play, but he's still figuring out exactly what he's supposed to do with them! Walter is looking for a family who will give him the time, patience, and care he needs to blossom and discover his full potential. He's already come so far, and we can't wait to see the amazing dog he becomes.
