Cannoli

Hello, my name is Cannoli! I'm approximately 2 years old, 40lb, and one of those super rare, super special fluffy pitties! Just look at my adorable extra fur.Do you want to burrow your face into all this soft and comforting fluff? Well you're in luck because snuggling is my absolute favorite pastime! You've never met a more affectionate dog. I will let you pet me for hours. If we're in the middle of a cuddle session and you stop petting to send a text message, I'll nudge your hand with my nose or paw at your arm. What could you possibly have to do that's better than loving me?I may be a couch potato, but I still love puzzle games, Kongs, lick mats, and using my nose to snuffle for my dinner. I'm learning to really like my crate and will even go in there to lick my Kong or take a nap all on my own. I'm a very happy girl! This week I discovered that playing tug can be a lot of fun!I really enjoy training with my foster mom. I'm food motivated and eager to please her. I know sit like the back of my paw. I can shake and am practicing down and loose leash walking. I would love to continue my training and show you what a smart girl I am. I bet I would be great at nose work or dog sports!I walk nicely when it's just me and my family, but I have a lot of triggers outside: bicycles, strollers, strangers running, and unknown dogs. I often lunge and bark and make a scene! The good news is my foster mom and dad say I am easy to redirect. I am still more interested in you and the treats in your pouch than scanning for triggers. I am looking for a home in a neighborhood that isn't busy and full of triggers - and someone who is willing to be patient with me as I learn to be the goodest girl.Speaking of my ideal home, I would do best in a home with adults and older teenagers. I sometimes forget how big I really am and plop right down on your lap. I also struggle to take treats gently when I'm really excited. My foster mom thinks it's possible that, with thoughtful introductions, I could do well with another confident medium or large dog, but she isn't so sure about cats or small dogs. The first time I met a small dog I sniffed politely but the second time I did not play nice and had to be separated…oops! Anyways, I'd love to be your one and only but could also succeed with another dog if the fit is right. If petting soft fluff and snuggling on the couch is your jam, I would be so excited to meet you! I am spayed, microchipped, free of heartworm and lyme diseases, and up to date on my core vaccines (rabies, distemper, bordetella). Apply for me today at pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt. KL 16182
