Snoopy is a sweet 8-year-old Poodle weighing approximately 18 pounds. This friendly little gentleman is looking for a loving family and a comfortable home where he can enjoy the next chapter of his life.

Snoopy is friendly with other dogs and good with children. His compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

At eight years old, Snoopy has the wonderful qualities that often come with a mature dog. He's past the demanding puppy stage, but he still needs companionship, exercise, enrichment, and opportunities to enjoy life with his people.

Poodles are known for being intelligent, affectionate, people-oriented, and highly trainable. They often develop strong bonds with their families and enjoy being included in daily activities. Snoopy may be just as happy joining his family for a neighborhood walk as he is settling in nearby for some quiet time together.

Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, and even dogs who previously had good household manners may need reminders after a major change.

His family should be prepared to reinforce:

Snoopy is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

At eight years old, he's entering his senior years, making preventative veterinary care increasingly important. His future family should work with their veterinarian to establish an appropriate wellness plan for him.

His ongoing care should include:


Regular veterinary wellness examinations


Senior wellness exams and bloodwork as recommended


Recommended vaccinations and boosters


Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention


Routine dental examinations and dental care


Quality nutrition and healthy weight management
