Meet Boomer, a/k/a Clay - a a very cute one year old and 41 lb pitbull mix with a heart as big as his smile. Despite a very hard start in life, this young boy has held on to his happy, loving spirit. Clay was rescued as part of a cruelty case after being abused by his former owner. But you'd never know it by meeting him--he trusts people completely and greets everyone, big or small, with warmth and affection.

Clay is a true cuddlebug who just wants to be by your side and soak up all the love he can get. He's playful and happy-go-lucky, always ready to run, chase a ball, or romp around with his friends. He's wonderful with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playmate. Clay is also very smart, learning his commands quickly, and walks nicely on a leash--making him a wonderful companion for strolls and adventures.

When it's time to relax, Clay is happiest snuggled up next to his people, knowing he's safe and cherished. He is crate and house trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped--ready for his forever home.

Right now, Clay is waiting in boarding, dreaming of the day he'll finally have a family or foster of his very own. After all he's been through, he deserves nothing less than a home filled with love.
