Dottie and her brother, Onyx, were both dumped on the streets of Clewiston, FL. Fortunately, they were trapped and are currently in boarding in St. Petersburg, FL.Despite being failed by humans, Dottie is a young pup who desires attention and affection. She is a gentle, friendly girl that is eager to be loved. Dottie is unsure of a leash and is a little apprehensive of it. She responds to "come" and "sit," but that is all she knows for obedience. She will need obedience training and will need to learn how to be a dog. Dottie has no interest right now for toys. She isn't quite sure what to do with them and will need help learning how to safely play. There is much to learn about Dottie, but we do know she will be a great dog for any first time foster and/or adopter. She is a stunning, loving girl and we have a feeling she's a velcro kind of girl.
