This handsome guy blends the intelligence and athleticism of his herding roots with a surprisingly calm, affectionate nature.His best pointes: Has an excellent off switch - knows when it's time to play and when it's time to settle in. He's gentle when taking treats Walks nicely on leash Responds well to basic commands like sit. Highly treat-motivated and eager to please, Max picks up new training quickly. Gets along well with other large dogs Rides well in the car Enjoys the freedom of using a doggie door. Toys are one of his favorite things - especially basketballs - and he's always ready for a game. Has a funny habit of "borrowing" blankets and carrying them outside if they're left within reach. BamBam does have a few habits to be aware of. He enjoys kitchen counter surfing, prefers not to share his food Will sometimes playfully grab your hand while walking, as if he's trying to hold hands. He doesn't always recognize his size around small dogs, so introductions should be supervised. If a door isn't secured, Max may decide it's time for an adventure and let himself out. Your best bet with BamBam is keeping him fed, engaged, and mentally stimulated…this will go a long way toward keeping him content.He is looking for an experienced home that can continue his training, provide structure, and give him plenty of positive outlets for his energy.
