They are welcome to participate in and be trained for any activity other than bite.MAD dogs that are intact at the time of adoption will be required to be spayed/neutered within 60 days of adoption. For puppies, sterilization must occur by 6 months of age. Vasectomies and tubal ligation are accepted forms of sterilization in lieu of a traditional spay/neuter surgery.***********************************************************************MAD is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our mailing address is in Michigan, however, our dogs are in private foster homes across the continental US. The state location of each dog is posted with the name of the pet in the title description. We do not disclose exact location of the dogs for the safety of our foster homes and the dogs. If you are located within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick up the pet. For greater distances, MAD does offer transport assistance for up to 350 miles for the adopter, however transport is primarily on the responsibility of the adopter.
