Netta arrived from the city pound on 7/24/2026 when her legal stray hold was finished. She appears to be a pit bull type mix, possibly with boxer or maybe even pointer, and we're guessing she is 2 to 3 years old. Netta is strong, stocky and is enthusiastic in her affection. She will be vet checked and spayed on Aug. 12th and her fee is $150.

We are still learning about Netta, but she's been a friendly and energetic girl so far. She does seem to have had a little basic training but will need some work on leash walking. She will require regular exercise as she is an active, younger dog. We do think she'd do okay with a male dog of similar size and she should be fine with kids. We have no way of knowing about cats.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
