Dolce is a gentle, affectionate pup who loves attention, greets everyone like a friend, and rarely barks. She does still retreat to her crate often, but given that it was her safe space for many months, this behavior is completely understandable and should ease with time, patience, and consistency.

Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes:
A heartworm test
Deworming
Spay/neuter procedures
Vaccinations
Microchipping
Bloodwork if neccessary
We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life.
While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don't have their family history). Additionally, medical tests-though highly reliable-can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high.

Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168, but Dolce is a very special dog breed so we are asking $498 as her adoption fee to help cover her vet expenses.
For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses.
