Maverick is 3yo, weighs 100lbs, is neutered, is microchipped, is up to date on his rabies vaccines, but is not up to date on the others. He knows the commands 'sit', 'lay', 'heel', and 'place'. He is alone in the home 8-10 hours per day for 3 days per week. He's kept in the home during the day and sleeps in his own room at night. Also, he rides well in the vehicle. Maverick loves attention and wants to lie on you, thinking he is only 5 lbs.

Maverick's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "Kids in sports, etc. traveling a lot for that. Untrustworthy near kids alone."

Bite incident: In 2023 Maverick nipped at guardian's son and daughter; the nip didn't break the skin; animal control was not involved. Maverick's guardian adds: "Random, jealousy possibly. Not provoked at all. No medical attention. Basically nipped at them."

Maverick's guardian states the following regarding children: Although Maverick has lives with children (ages 2 and 12), his guardian doesn't recommend his living with children, stating "Most of the time is find but has occasionally nipped. My kids a little more aggressive nipping".
