Luckily, a compassionate shelter worker recognized the depth behind his guarded exterior. She saw that beneath his tough demeanor lay a loving heart yearning for a safe space to thrive. Thanks to her, Oz was transferred to Kneading Kitty's Rescue in Phoenix-a step toward finding his forever home. Like many cats with troubled pasts, Oz is selective about his animal companionship. To ensure a harmonious environment, he thrives best in a quiet, low-stress home. His time on the streets taught him valuable lessons, including the importance of boundaries with other felines. Thus, he's seeking a space where he can be the only cat. Ideally, he could adapt to a small dog that respects his space, given enough time for a proper introduction.
