About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Maci
Milo and Maci are a bonded pair of senior pugs who thrive on constant companionship and physical affection — they're happiest in a home where they can spend most of their day on the couch with their person and don't need to be kenneled for long stretches. They do well in both active and relaxed households, get along beautifully with kids, other dogs, and cats, and reward their people with enthusiastic greetings and loyal cuddles.
- Bonded pair — must be adopted together.
- Maci has mild hip arthritis and requires a dog diaper due to unusual anatomy; Milo runs on three legs (painless, but a gait quirk).
- Incomplete housetrain — still in diapers and working on outdoor reliability; will need patience and consistency.
- Both are escape artists per previous owner; secure yard and monitoring needed.
- Extremely vocal during nail trims; car travel requires acclimation.

About Maci
Kentuckiana Pug Rescue
RescueKentuckiana Pug Rescue (KPR) is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization (permit #P15-001003) committed to helping all needy Pugs in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. We work to find both abandoned, as well as surrendered Pugs, loving, forever homes in which they can live out the rest of their lives. KPR does not have a central facility where Pugs can be visited. Each rescued Pug lives with a foster family until they can be placed in an adoptive home.
