From her foster "Meet Mychal - A Quiet Miracle Looking for Her Fur-Ever HomeMychal is a 3-month-old grey tabby female with an amazing story . She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and parasites, and FeLV/FIV negative-ready to start her next chapter.Mychal first came to Piedmont Animal Rescue this fall in a trap at a spay-neuter/TNR clinic. We believed she was a feral kitten from a colony in Statesville. During her exam, the veterinarian discovered a concerning lump near her abdomen-possibly a hernia. Thankfully, a volunteer chose not to release her back outside right away but to wait. That decision changed everything! And then she purred! She wasn't feral at all-she was sweet! A follow-up veterinary visit weeks later revealed even more good news: the hernia had repaired itself! Mychal was healthy… and absolutely lovely! She may not be flashy or exotic-just a little grey tabby-but Mychal is something truly special. Her coat is buttery soft, her nature quiet and contemplative. She enjoys playing with other kittens, but always gently. Mychal would thrive in a calm, consistent home, ideally with another kitten companion, and would be a wonderful match for adults or families with older, mature children.Mychal's story is a miracle. An injury saved her life, and fate stepped in just in time. Now all that's missing is the ending she deserves:A fur-ever family. A fur-ever home.Could that be you?"
