He is very food motivated, which makes winning him over a little easier, but he prefers to take his time when it comes to people. Figaro starts out extremely shy and will need patience as he learns to feel safe in a new environment.

While he isn't naturally affectionate, Figaro does allow gentle petting and will even lean into it once he's comfortable. That said, he can be sensitive and may swat when he's had enough, so he's looking for someone who understands cat body language and will respect his boundaries. With time, consistency, and a calm home, he has the potential to continue building trust and confidence.

Figaro has a playful side that really comes out when he feels secure - he loves toy wands, furry mice, and plastic coils. He enjoys cozy cubbies, climbing cat trees, sitting in the window, and quietly slinking around observing everything like a little shadow. He may even surprise you by curling up on the bed nearby, though watch your fingers and toes - he has a habit of licking and giving playful little nips.
