Meet Scotty

Scotty came to LAWS from a hoarding situation when he was approximately 6 weeks old (born in Aug 2025). He and his cousin Miss Maple (both from same situation) are very bonded and need to be adopted together. Scotty was quite ill in the beginning and was on several rounds of antibiotics. He still occasionally has diarrhea, but it is typically responsive to antibiotics. Speciality foods help keep his tummy on track as well. He is otherwise very active, healthy, and thriving.

Scotty loves to play, explore, and lounge in the sun. He and Miss Maple play together much of the day- often, when one can't find the other, they will call out or chirp or make other little noises until they are together. They even bring each other toys. They can regularly be found snuggling or sleeping together. They have an amazing bond.

Scotty is very handsome with charming blue eyes that are slightly crossed. He likes being petted and occasionally touches the human's hand for petting or rubbing his ears. He isn't fond of being held, but does enjoy being brushed. Over time he may become more affectionate, but for now he gives love in the best ways in which he feels comfortable. Because of this, Scotty and Miss Maple need a home where they will be loved and respected just as they are. Scotty especially will need people who are patient, kind, gentle, and never forceful. It is highly likely that Scotty will need a home without children.

Scotty and Miss Maple deserve a good, loving, and stable home where they will both be cherished for their individual personalities and respected for the bond they share. They will surely bring a lot of joy to the right forever home.
