Love the laughter kittens bring, but want it in a (slightly) bigger body? Looking for a playmate for your young cat? Meet Nutmeg! Nutmeg was a stray young adult brought inside with her sister, Cinnabon, and Cinnabon's kittens in search of a better life. Without kittens of her own, Nutmeg IS the kitten-she loves nothing more than to patrol around trilling and snooping for mischief. Nutmeg loves window watching and playing with toys of all kinds, including other felines! Since coming in, Nutmeg has never met a kitty stranger and will head butt and play chase with anyone she can get her paws on. It takes her longer to warm to strange humans (being new to this household life with its 'vacuums'), but there are few things as charming as seeing her crawl over to flop by your feet and give you head butts.

Nutmeg is food-motivated and will do anything for the right snack, so she is on scheduled feeds. She is being fostered in an adult-only home with other cats and doing well; she adores other cats and has been always been eager to meet new cats in-home. We aren't sure how she'd do with dogs or young children yet, as she does take time to build confidence. Nutmeg would be a great companion cat for quiet, mellower families with other cats open to a slow burn love bug who'll continue to blossom and come into her own over time. We look forward to seeing her personality develop! Loving Nutmeg has been so rewarding knowing she'd never known love before, and we'd love to share that feeling with you too!

Nutmeg's adoption donation is $115 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
