Chess and Checkers are bonded brothers looking for a home and family to call their very own!Checkers is our handsome, fearless boy ready to play, wrestle, leap, run and chase. Toys are the best and new spaces must be explored. Vacuum? No problem. Getting something from the fridge? He'll help. Sink? He'll check it out. He comes up on your chest, near your face, for bedtime and good morning snuggles. He is not picky and eats wet food, dry food, lickable treats and crunchy treats. And his litterbox score is A+! Checkers has never met a stranger - he loves his brother Chess as well as the resident cats in his foster home, but knows to respect their space when needed.Chess is a petite guy but makes up for it in personality and cuteness. We're working on adding weight - right now he prefers wet food, but did eat some dry food when he first came in. He absolutely demands (in a tiny, cute voice to go with his tiny, cute self) treats when you are in the kitchen. Chess is curious just like his brother, as well as playful. He loves toys and loves to chase and wrestle with both his brother and the resident adult cat. Chess also hasn't met a stranger either, especially if he believes you are capable of giving treats. He is not willing to help with vacuuming, but thanks you for keeping things clean (again in that tiny cute voice!). He will inspect the shower/bathtub, and as soon as he gets big enough, probably the bathroom sink as well. His foster family has worked hard on saying "No" for the kitchen table, and he's on board! (Checkers is mostly willing to comply, unless it's zoomie time and sometimes he forgets.) Chess likes to snuggle up to cat friends, and sleep nearby his people.Checkers and Chess are getting a second round of dewormer due to coming in as strays and are scheduled for neuter on Saturday September 26th. They will be ready to go to their furever home after that!These two are going to make a very lucky family and house a home. They will seamlessly fit in most schedules as long as they have room to play, lots of toys, treats, and yummy food, and people and friends to love on. After all, two kittens are always better than one!- - -All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
