Menace and Miss Demeanor are sweet 5-month old sisters looking for their forever home together! These two are bonded sisters ready to enter the next chapter of their lives together. Menace is a petite grey and white tuxedo shorthair with white 'socks' and gorgeous seafoam green eyes. She is brave, outgoing, playful and athletic - and ready to show you her impressive kung-fu and parkour moves! Miss Demeanor is a gorgeous grey girl with a small white patch on her underside and copper colored eyes. Her regal presence is complemented by her equally playful and inquisitive side, though she is more cautious around new people. Don't let that discourage you, Miss Demeanor is a beautiful friend who will reward your patience with lots of love once she has warmed up in her new home!Menace is a friendly, curious and busy young kitten. She has bursts of energy promptly followed by naps. She has recently figured out when her foster family wakes up in the morning and likes to help by paying them a visit just a little too early to let them know the alarm is going to go off soon. She is a terrific jumper and likes to hunt bugs as well as play with pompoms, shoelaces, and anything else she can carry around in her mouth! Menace likes to greet people and rubs against ankles and other cats, but is not a fan of being held. She will accept pets on her body but doesn't like her head petted. She is very food motivated and can be easily bribed with Chururs - she will jump on to people when she wants attention and rewards you with purrs, but it's on her terms. She's a smart gal who knows where the treats are hidden and how to get to them. She has also recently discovered fuzzy blankets, which could be a good lure into lap-sitting as the weather gets cooler. Combine that with a Churu and she'll be hooked!Miss Demeanor is a sweet and shy kitten who has come a long, long way from the terrified kitten she once was! She is interested in people and often watches from a safe distance, even following her foster family around the house. She has a little way to go before she becomes a confident pet cat, but will absolutely get there and comes more and more out of her shell every day! She is a little chatty and can be heard calling for Menace if she can't find her. She has recently started accepting touches from people and can be picked up for a few minutes at a time, but isn't too sure about it yet. Miss Demeanor loves boxes and tissue paper, crunchy balls, and any kind of string or ribbon. Like most kittens, she'll burn her energy with running, jumping, playing, and pouncing before crashing for a nap. Naps are the best time to approach her for affection and she will snooze and purr if you pet her! She has also been eyeing those warm fuzzy blankets with curiosity as has recently begun sitting on the sofa with her foster family. Miss Demeanor has an intense gaze when she watches people, and it is believed that she will bond deeply with her person once she finds them. Given patience and love, Miss Demeanor is blossoming with more confidence and courage every day.Menace and Miss Demeanor are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. The two sisters could be adopted alongside their brother Havoc if you want to add three kittens to your household! Petite Menace often puts herself between people and the bigger Miss Demeanor as if to protect her while they nap together. Miss Demeanor and Menace are living together in a quiet house with 2 adults, 2 college-aged young adults, their brother Havoc and 3 resident adult cats. Both of these ladies like other cats and love to play with each other and their brother, Havoc. They do seem to learn from their foster's resident adult cats and will seek them out for affection and playtime. It took Miss Demeanor a long time to warm up to the resident cats but she now approaches and rubs against them and plays with them. They may benefit from having an adult cat who can show them the ropes of being a pet, but as long as they have each other, Menace and Miss Demeanor will be happy. Miss Demeanor and Menace have not been introduced to children or dogs. They would likely do okay in a home with quieter kids (12+), but not with dogs.Miss Demeanor would thrive in a calm and patient home. She would do best in a quiet environment where she knows she is safe and can relax. Adopters who are experienced with shy or fearful cats and have the time and patience to give her the space she needs would be best. Cat whisperers welcome! Menace will adapt much more quickly. She likes to engage with people and other cats, even winning over her cantankerous, older Siamese foster brother. She will likely approach any resident cats very quickly, assuming they'll accept and love her. A home with a friendly, adult resident cat may be nice for these two sisters. These beauties will make a wonderful addition to a calm environment.
