Birthday 4/24/24 Chelsea is looking for a home with someone who truly understands that cats have their own unique personalities and that trust is something that's earned, not rushed. She's a shy girl who prefers space and independence, and she needs an adopter who will respect her boundaries and let her come to them on her own terms. Being picked up isn't her thing, and approaching her too quickly can be overwhelming. But give Chelsea time, patience, and a calm environment, and you'll start to see her walls come down. She absolutely loves other cats and would do best in a home with a confident feline friend (or adopted with a buddy) who can help her feel secure. Once she's comfortable, her playful side shines through. She enjoys treats and has a blast chasing springs, paper balls, and wand toys. She does play a bit rough, so she'll need a cat companion who can keep up with her energy. Chelsea may not be the kind of cat who demands attention right away, but for someone who appreciates a cat for who they are; independent, expressive, and deserving of respect, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion laying with you on the couch for pets or even sleeping with you at night.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home.
