Meet Mick. Mick came into the world in the middle of an emergency. During his mom's delivery, complications arose and she had to be rushed into surgery. Mick was the kitten who became stuck, turning everything urgent in a matter of moments. It was the kind of situation where nothing is guaranteed. But Mick made it. And so did his mom. And so did two of his siblings. Since then, he's carried himself with a quiet resilience that feels a little beyond his age. He's a white kitten with bold black spots, and there's a steady, grounded nature to him that shows up in everything he does. Mick isn't overwhelming or demanding, he connects in a calm, intentional way and settles in once he feels secure. That nature really shows in the way he cares for his sister, Mirabelle. She looks just like him, but where Mick is steady, Mirabelle is timid and unsure, still learning that the world can be a safe place. Mick naturally steps into that space for her. He stays close, moves first, and gives her the confidence to follow, offering a constant sense of reassurance without needing to make a scene about it. Because of that bond, we are looking for a home that will adopt Mick and Mirabelle together. She leans on him, and he shows up for her in a way that's hard to replicate. He carries that same energy into his relationships with people. He may take a little time to adjust, but once he does, he becomes a consistent, comforting presence. Mick and Mirabelle will do best in a calm, predictable home that gives him the space to settle in and just be himself. He fought his way into the world. Now he's the one making it feel a little safer for someone else. If you're interested in meeting Mick and Mirabelle, email us

All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion.
