Meet Simon, a 2 ½ year old, 25 pound terrier mix

Background

: Simon

suddenly found himself without a home after his devoted owners passed away. Simon wasn't just a pet; he was a treasured family member who was deeply loved and well cared for.

Personality

: Simon is an insecure dog. He loves women, and while it takes a little while to warm up to men, once he does, he's all in! Simon is an active dog and loves to play fetch, go for walks or hikes. Simon would do best in an adult only home. He is beginning to come around to the cat in his foster home. As an insecure dog Simon does need another small, bossy female dog in his forever home.

Favorite Things:

Simon loves belly rubs, keeping himself occupied by playing with toys and alerting when someone comes on the property.

Health

: Simon is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Training

: Simon is housebroken, uses a dog door and knows basic commands such as "sit" and "paw". He's still got a few puppy habits (like play nibbling hands), so a little refresher training wouldn't hurt. Simon is working on leash training.

Adoption Requirements:

Simon requires a person who has experience with insecure dogs. Simon needs a small, bossy (alpha) female dog in his forever home. Simon would do best in a quiet adult only household.
