About This Dog
What WeRescue Scout knows about Francine
Francine needs a home with a securely fenced yard, patient adults who can continue her socialization and training, and ideally a female-headed or all-female household given her current wariness of men. She thrives with other dogs and will do best with someone experienced raising puppies who can commit to her long-term care.
- Requires securely fenced yard—no exceptions per listing
- Currently fearful of men; needs experienced handling and time to build trust
- Not housetrained; requires active puppy training and supervision
- Came from a hoarding situation and may be shy in new environments; patience needed during adjustment
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Collar of Hope to confirm any details before adopting.
About Francine
Collar of Hope
RescueCollar of Hope is an all volunteer, animal rescue group, primarily dogs. We are a FOSTER HOME BASED RESCUE AND HAVE NO FACILITY TO VISIT. The only way to meet a animal without submitting our adoption application is when we attend adoption events with some of our available pets..
We are committed to helping homeless animals find their way into permanent loving homes as a valued member of the family.
We do not discriminate in size, age or breeds; we just want to help nice adoptable cat & dogs as we can and believe they have the right for the chance at their own happy "tail"!
We are not trainers, behaviorist or veterinarians. We provide all basic health care, grooming needs and a safe place for the animal until a good viable match for the animal comes along. All rescues will take some work, some more and some less depending on the age and background. 99% of our dogs come from shelters as strays so we have no history on them. We learn as much as we can about them while they're in our care in their foster home.
