Hi there! My name is Simba and I am 7 years old. I am a sweet boy that was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of my own. My family loved me very much, but they felt they did not have the proper time and attention to give me anymore, so I am here at the shelter looking for a new family. My owners gave the shelter staff lots of information on me! I am a cuddly boy that loves to give kisses. I am protective of my family, and I did well with the young children in my home. Because of my living situation before my previous family, I can be nervous around new people, especially men... This means I will need some patience when you come to meet me, and I wouldn't thrive well in a home that has frequent visitors that I don't know. I am a very good boy that knows quite a few tricks, like sit and shake, and I can be left in my home while you leave without needing a crate. However, to get me used to your home setting and routine, staff will always recommend using a crate to get me started and for me to have a safe place to be! I love to play with balls, stuffed toys, frisbees, squeaky toys and ropes! Imagine how much fun we could have together!
