Loba

Lovely Loba adores people who can give her the love and attention she needs in her forever home. She is a 2-year-old Labrador/mixed breed girl with a creamy colored coat and eyes that just beg to be adopted.Loba weighs 54 pounds, which makes her a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds). She has a sweet spirit that craves human companionship for a casual stroll around the neighborhood or some gentle play before she settles in for some rest and relaxation. Loba is comfortable with other dogs and with children. It is not known whether Loba is comfortable with cats since she hasn't been exposed to cats since coming into rescue.Loba is working on her house and leash training. She aims to please so consistent, positive training with some treats will be just the ticket to success. Rescue dogs may have accidents as they transition to a new home, so patience is also important. If crate training is planned, Loba requires a crate that is big enough for her to turn around, stand in and lie down. Crates need to be warm welcoming places and must never be used for punishment. Her past is a bit of a mystery but Loba is ready to write the next chapter in her life so long as it includes plenty of time and attention and most importantly, love that knows no end.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Loba is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
