She does well with children and other dogs but will need structure and guidance when in the company of other dogs as she can be particular with her choice of canine companions. Carolina is not willing to entertain a feline relationship, so she will need a cat free home.Her skills, including crate training are in progress. Carolina is a great dog but will need a confident and dog savvy owner that can address her needs as she becomes stressed and anxious on the leash and on car rides. Although smaller in stature, Carolina needs an open area of space for her to explore and feel comfortable so a house setting rather than apartment/condo life would be more suitable to her needs. She will thrive with patience, consistency, guidance, and love from her forever family. She can reap the rewards of having completed her house training. Although Caroline is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment.
