Meet Rose! 🐾
Rose is a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of love who is looking for a patient family willing to help her feel safe and confident. ❤️ She was surrendered by her owner due to behavioral concerns, and her previous owner reported a prior bite history. They also stated that Rose has lived with other dogs and can become possessive over food and toys.

Despite her history, Rose has been an absolute sweetheart while at the shelter. Staff describe her as timid, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. She walks very well on leash, takes treats politely, and seeks out her people for hugs and reassurance when she feels anxious. In the play yard, Rose preferred to stay close by her handler's side, happily following along wherever they went.

Rose has been very tolerant of handling, allowing staff to touch her face, paws, and tail without issue. She has also shown no aggressive behavior when approached by unfamiliar people. Her gentle nature and desire for human affection have truly made her a joy to be around.

Because of her reported history and potential for food/toy possessiveness, Rose will need an experienced and committed adopter who understands the breed and is prepared to provide structure, positive training, and appropriate management.
