Meet Danny 🐾
Danny is a 5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who came to us as a stray. Although we were able to contact his microchip owner, he was never reclaimed.

Staff describe Danny as a docile, mellow gentleman with a gentle heart. He's happy to get out of his kennel and enjoys spending time with people, but it's clear he's still learning that affection is a good thing. When you pet him, he seems a little unsure at first-as if he's wondering why someone is being so kind-but with patience, he begins to relax and accept the attention.

Danny walks fairly well on a leash, only pulling a little at first before settling into a calm pace with gentle guidance. He also knows sit on command and is easy to work with, making him a wonderful candidate for continued positive training.

This sweet boy will benefit from an adopter who understands that confidence takes time to build. Danny isn't the type of dog to immediately demand attention-instead, he's the kind who slowly learns to trust, and once he does, that bond is incredibly rewarding 💛🐶
