Rhino

🐾 Meet Rhino - Big Heart, Big Personality, Big Lovebug! 🐾
Say hello to Rhino, a 5-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix with a sweet soul and a whole lot of love to give. This neutered male is housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door, and is patiently waiting for the right home to help him thrive.

Rhino was surrendered due to owner having a small living space. Rhino is in need of home with a good yard space as he enjoys living in the great outdoors more than being inside. He's incredibly gentle and loving, playful in all the right ways! He does amazing around kids and gets overly excited to see dogs! In his excitement he may come off as rambunctious but he has done well with dogs in the past.

He's pretty perfect on the leash now!! Rhino is literally perfect! Give him a squeaky ball to play with and he's good, for hours! Loving or not! But he prefers the loving!

He even plays a game… take the ball… say it's your's… then say give me a kiss!!!
(He will give you a kiss!) then give him the ball back! (Of course, then tell him he's a good boy!!!) 😘

At the shelter, he is easy to leash up and walk! He's like a dream! He shows no reactivity when walking past other dogs in the kennel, which suggests he may do well with pre meeting introductions! We think he'd be fine with another dog in the home!

Rhino is looking for his forever family (whatever that may look like!). He's smart, gentle, sweet, and responds to requests like a prefect gentleman!!

He is looking for his forever family!! His fresh start! He's been on field trips to homes where he's made himself like family in a matter of hours! If you want a shelter pup that will integrate into your home seamlessly, Rhino is your guy!!
