General Notes | Found pregnant and abandoned in a hoarder house with 41 other dogs outside of Houston, Texas, Tina really has seen it all in her first few years of life. This sweet mama dog deserves a softer forever landing pad than that! This sweet girl has spent her life being the ultimate mom, devoting all her energy to raising her puppies and making sure they were safe, happy, and loved. Now that her babies are grown and off finding their own forever homes, it is finally Tina's turn to be spoiled! She has a heart of gold and a soul that just wants to please. She is great with dogs, kids, and even cats! She's officially hanging up her motherhood duties and stepping into her retirement ere, which, if she has any say in it, will involve endless belly rubs, cozy nap spots, fun backyard romps, and all the treats she can handle. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days. Personality | Super outgoing and sweet! She wants to be your shadow and will hang with anyone in her proximity. Discovered she was pregnant after arriving in foster, and now, finally, Tina is making her way to the good life!Other Dogs | Happy to great, happy to play, and living well with another dog in her current foster home! She adores pups, playing, and hanging out. She is good about reading cues and rolling with the punches of other dogs demeanors. Cats | Tina is living in foster with a kitty and doing really well! She is curious but leaves the kitty alone and allow him to approach her. Children | Tina LOVES children!!! She will follow them from room to room, loves to snuggle, and was even used as a step stool by a current kiddo in her foster home and didn't mind, haha. She would love kiddos in her forever home! Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
