Shelter Animals Rescue Group
RescueOur organization is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit, formed in 1996 to help save adoptable dogs and cats from euthanization at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. We specialize in mixed breeds. Our shelter is often filled with very adoptable animals that must die because of space limitations, and we are devoted to giving a second chance to as many as we can. We house our animals in foster homes or boarding kennels for as long as it takes to find them permanent homes. We participate in numerous community events to promote our animals and the concept of adoption/rescue.
