Meet Rain: your future shadow, snuggle buddy, and biggest fan
Rain is a one-year-old, 40 lb pitbull mix who came to us as a local owner surrender. She's already shown what a wonderful mom she can be-having raised a litter of puppies-and now it's her turn to find a forever home where she can get all the love she deserves!
She's a sweet, happy little lady who enjoys running around the yard, but her favorite thing is following her humans from room to room to make sure she never misses a chance for cuddles.
Rain is fully housebroken, great with other dogs, and mostly ignores the resident cat-unless she gets a little too close and gets a quick "boop," then she politely makes her exit. She knows her name, comes when called, and is always ready for belly rubs or any affection you're willing to give.
She'd make a wonderful walking or hiking buddy, but she's just as happy being your go-to snuggle companion at home. Rain would do well in a home with other dogs, as long as they don't mind sharing their humans-because being close to her people is her favorite place to be.
She's gentle when taking treats, eager to please, and ready to bring lots of love (and a little extra shadow energy!) to her forever home Rain is current on vaccinations and schedule for her spay and microchip in April.
