Handsome Boy with Excellent MannersMeet Heath-Straight-A Student, Tennis Ball ExpertHeath recently took a Barks & Rec field trip to Ancil Hoffman Park and came back with an "A"! Apparently this handsome brindle boy understood the assignment.His outing report described him as friendly, polite, patient, and calm. He walked beautifully on leash, happily gave kisses, and showed everyone what a sweet, medium-energy guy he is. Shelter volunteers agree-Heath is a total sweetheart who takes treats nicely and appreciates a good scratch.And then there are TENNIS BALLS.Heath loves them, but throwing one is not a rushed affair. First, the ball must undergo a thorough squishiness inspection. Chomp. Chomp. Chomp. Once Heath determines it has achieved the proper level of squish, you may throw it again. Quality control is important.Heath also enjoys other toys, affection, and hanging out with his people. Handsome, playful, affectionate, and already bringing home straight A's-Heath is one very good boy waiting for his next adventure.Heath has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.
