Hi! My name is Count Barry Michael White Dracula, but you can call me Mikey for short! How did I snag this amazing name? Well, it all started with this really great lady who cared for me as a kitten. She noticed right away that I was destined for so much more than street life. She became my best friend and gave the absolute BEST chin scritches.. Which is how I earned my first name Count Dracula: I've got some pearly white chompers and when the chin scritches are juuuuust right, you can see them under my lip. You might've already guessed, but I got Barry White because I'm a huge loverboy: chin scritches, head pets, kisses, snuggles - I want it ALL. I've even got my foster mom trained now that when I go in for a head boop, I get a kiss right on my forehead. I even like to chirp and meow to get attention: I've got a squeaky meow and one hell of a motor for a purr. Oh, and the Michael/"Mikey" part? Well, you could say that I happen to be a connoisseur of all foods - get it? Like "hey Mikey, he likes it!" Foster mom says maybe she's dating herself with that joke. Yep, you read that right.. I love me some food. Wet food, dry food, chicken, fish, whipped cream - yes, please! Anywho! The wonderful caretaker who loved me and helped me grow up safely knew it was time for the comfy life and brought me to ARR to meet my foster mom. Let me tell you, that was a shock! You mean I've got a comfy bed, unlimited snuggles AND there's free food?! Once I settled in I got to know the resident kitties: I LOVE other cats and kittens. I'll need a home with at least one playful feline friend to call my bestie. I also decided that dogs are pretty cool too. I'd prefer a patient dog, but the floof I've been living with has tested my boundaries and I've been as cool as a cucumber. I haven't met kiddos before, but I think I'd do well with kiddos that understand I may be shy at first. It may take me a little while to settle into my new home, despite how far I've come new situations can still be stressful. But watch out, once I find my space and get comfy it's time to see how goofy and loving I am. Oh, one more thing: my forever home MUST have boxes. I need to sit in them all. Big ones, small ones, I think they're the best (and a great place to sneak attack from). Also, I'm kind of a big deal: my foster mom wanted me to stay and hang with her for a little longer because I'm such a love, but I know that this is my time to find my forever. Are you my forever??

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens.
$225 for kittens (6 months & under)
$150 for cats (older than 6 months)
$100 for senior cats (8 years or older)
